Dorothy Lahey age 91, of Highlands died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg. Born in Brooklyn she lived in Rochelle Park until 1949 when she moved to Highlands. She was a bookkeeper employed by Bank of America Sea Bright Branch before retiring 21 years ago. Mrs. Lahey was a member of Rosary Altar society of PTA of OLPH. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1977. She will always be remembered for her love of dancing and music. She is survived by her son and wife George and Felicia Lahey, Jr. of Charlotte NC, a daughter and her husband Noreen and Lew Billet of Middletown, and daughter and husband Mary Beth and Kevin Joyce of Hanover, MA. Many loving Grand and great grandchildren are also surviving. A Sister Jackie McLaughlin of Myrtle beach SC and many loving nieces and nephews survive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, 141 Navesink Ave, Highlands by Fr Michael Lynch . Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. The family will receive their friends 6-9 Wednesday at John P. Condon Funeral Home LLC, 804 St. Hwy. #36, Leonardo, NJ.
