Edward B. Doczy, age 77, of Hazlet died on his birthday, Monday , February 15, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center of Red Bank. NJ . Mr Doczy was born in Englewood NJ and Resided in Port Monmouth NJ. He served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. He was a welder employed by General Motors for many years before his retirement. He was also a member of the VFW. He was a avid chocolate lover, and in his younger years enjoyed fishing , painting and watching the Mets at his favorite pub. He is predeceased by wives Lorraine and Brigitte Doczy. Mother Elizabeth, father Ernest and brothers Ernie, Eugene and Albert. He is survived by his daughters Sheryl Tarantino, Kim Lacy and son in law Kevin Lacy. Grand children Christian Tarantino, Logan Lacy and Olivia Lacy. His Cremation Services were private. Friends and family may call at the John P Condon Funeral Home on Tuesday February 23 from 6-8pm.
