Mrs Patricia Phair

Patricia A Phair born 09/30/1934 in East Orange NJ, daughter of Clarence and Mabel Bohrer passed away peacefully on February 7th at the age of 87. Patricia grew up in Bloomfield NJ, she graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1952 and furthered her education at the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Montclair NJ. Patricia began her professional career working at McGraw Hill Publishing in NYC for several years. In May 1955 she married John M Phair and they lived abroad in Germany for three years while he fulfilled his military obligation. After that they moved back to John’s home town of Atlantic Highlands. Once back home they started a family and she changed professions and became a Paralegal Secretary. Patricia worked for numerous law firms during her distinguished career including Carton Law Firm, Helt and Helt, Brenda Helt and finished her career at Drazin and Warsaw in Red Bank. Aside from her professional career she also donated her time to the Atlantic Highlands community. Patricia was a member of the Atlantic Highlands Planning Board for many years, she was a life member of the Atlantic Highlands Lady’s Auxiliary, she was a devoted parishioner of Saint Agnes Church and a member of the Saint Agnes Senior Choir for over 50 years. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and spending summers at the beach. She is survived by her three children, Mary McLaughlin and her husband David, Thomas Phair and his wife Melissa, Brian Phair and his wife Krista and her sister Geraldine Woods. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, David, John and Christian McLaughlin, Pebble Phair and Kalum, Josie and John Phair. Her viewing will be on Thursday February 10th at John P Condons Funeral Home in Leonardo from 4-7pm followed by a memorial mass at Saint Agnes Church in Atlantic Highlands on Friday February 11th at 10am. In-lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Fight Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
